John
Grueby is the librarian at Giant Worldwide Redwood Products. He finds
books for secretaries, digs for obscure facts, and plays with his
early example of a computer database. He holds this job for about 16
pages at the beginning of this thriller, before he is kidnapped and
tortured. Later he visits several libraries to compile a dossier on
his enemies.
