This
strange story starts with the disappearance of the Keeper of
Archives, State University Library. He is referred to by the acronym
of his job title, Kasul. It is the future and the archives is the
only part of the library that still has books. Kasul's replacement
narrates the story and soon decides to go hunting for a mysterious
book. From here on the novel becomes an introduction to sufism.
